Stopped in to celebrate the women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. I believe they are still in the process of getting the restaurant/bar in working order. When they do, it will be very nice. The food is delicious! I think the alcoholic beverages are a little over priced and unfortunately the diet coke was flat that day. But overall, I will be a returning customer. Whoever is in the kitchen.....
Staff including Josh the bartender was very chill..food was very fresh, only issue is that the chicken was kinda bland. Definitely needed some pepper or seasoning
The best burger EVER!! Hands down!! Black owned, GREAT customer service! Couldn't eat it all at once, lol Definitely worth it! Chixen was juicy, the taste was definitely on point. The waffle jalapeno corn bread was good. Glad I found this spot.
Support local! I ordered the Chixen Mini (1/4 lb). I added cheese and turkey bacon. Bread was soft. Very thin chicken, which I love! House made sauce had a slight kick, pretty good. Sandwich was the perfect amount, didn't feel overstuffed. There are several sandwiches up to over a pound. Ordered online and done quickly. Walk up window, but I ordered online. My meal was very affordable. Staff was friendly! Would suggest offering gluten free buns. Will definitely be back!
My wife and I found this place randomly from a Google search for food near us. The pictures on the website looked awesome so we decided to try it. Chixen did not disappoint. I've never had a chicken burger before but now I'm craving them! The owner talked to us for a while and was very friendly and obviously passionate about his business. He even brought us a sample of a cheesy chicken bite which was also amazing. We will definitely be back and I'm telling everyone I know about this place!
Food was awesome. Customer service outstanding. Had this place again yesterday and itis still as amazing as the first time. Everything fresh. Sandwiches are huge and that coleslaw is outstanding. If these guys add fresh cut fries, it's a wrap. I'll be back soon .
To begin this is the best food I’ve had in a long time. When I tell you I’d rather have this over any burger I’ve tasted in my life it’s not an over exaggeration. Not only is it good it’s a very good price. If you haven’t had a burger from here you’re missing out on a taste of heaven. We had the Monarch burger and it deserves it’s name. At this point I’m begging you go get a burger from here and you will not be disappointed. Kudos to the chef you made my year better. P.S. the burgers are made of chicken and they have beef bacon if you don’t eat pork.
Best chicken burgers ever! If you want something other than beef or pork, this is thecway to go! Their chicken chill is marvelous, and the jalapeno cornbread, excellent! Great service as well. Love the food, 75th and Troost, in the old Epicurean lounge!
